Electronics technicians: not just building sites.

Building sites are part of the job, but not of every workplace. The trade also leads into planning offices, to the laptop and into the plant room.

Five fields of work in the job profile · Images: AI visualisations

  • Electrical planning

Planning circuits, distribution boards and cable routes on screen, before the first cable is laid.

  • Building automation

  • Building services

Maintaining the controls for heating, pumps and storage tanks in the plant room, for example for housing estates.

What our graduates do

  • E-mobility

Works in e-mobility at a car manufacturer. The qualification reaches beyond building technology.

To be honest

Before the fields of work comes the retraining. In our workshop in Nuremberg, people install, wire and measure; there is also a company internship and the practical part of the journeyman’s exam. The real question is: is that possible health-wise?

What we contribute.

For the decision, we provide what only we know: what the retraining demands physically and how we take a limitation into account.

  • Taster days

One or two days with a class before the decision, in lessons and in the workshop. It shows early on what day-to-day training demands.

  • Requirements profile

A written description of what the workshop, work placement and exam demand physically. It can be attached to the referral to the Medical Service.

  • Work placement

If your client tells us about the limitation, we take it into account when choosing the placement company. Sharing it is voluntary.

  • Exam adjustments

With a disability, even without a severe disability card, we help with the application, for example for extra exam time. The Chamber of Crafts decides.

One call is enough.

Arrange taster days and the requirements profile directly with us. We do not need any health data for this.

The retraining with us can also be funded as a benefit for participation in working life, through the employment agency or the German pension insurance.

We teach in regular classes. Where the special support of a vocational rehabilitation centre is needed, we cannot replace it.
